Increasing numbers of young people are turning to the dark web to get hold of anti-anxiety medication – and many of them are unknowingly buying pills laced with a highly potent synthetic opioid called Nitazenes. This programme has learnt some young people are drawn online for the drugs after being taken off prescription anti anxiety medication. We have spoken to a number of GPs who say they do not have the resources to support such patients properly.
