Bristol City have seen Yu Hirakawa return to the club for pre-season and he looked sharp after coming off the bench against Walsall on Thursday night.
Bristol City were dumped out of the Carabao Cup at the first round stage by the Saddlers after their 1-0 loss.
Hirakawa went on to play 10 matches for the Tigers altogether and helped them secure a surprise promotion to the Premier League.
As a result, he is now back at Bristol City and has a new lease of life.
