By Arindam GangulyBhubaneswar: Newly appointed National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) state president Bibhuti Bhusan Mohapatra Friday demanded time-bound government recruitment, student union elections, and transparent, scam-free examinations. “Students spend years preparing for competitive examinations, but recruitment often remains pending for months or even years. He also demanded transparent recruitment exams, alleging that repeated irregularities have weakened students’ trust. Mohapatra urged the government to hold student union elections in colleges and universities, saying elected bodies are vital for representing campus concerns. He said his immediate priority would be strengthening NSUI by bringing together students and young leaders from all sections of society.
