Dewitt Park beach on Silver Lake is closed to swimming and Paddock Hooker Lakes Association beach on Paddock Lake is under a swim caution after re-sampling by Kenosha County Thursday found elevated E.coli levels at those locations. The State Department of Health recommends posting warnings at beaches when test results indicate an E.coli level of 235/100mL or more and closing a beach when test results exceed E.coli 1000/100mL. Results from Thursday that prompted the closure and cautions were:DeWitt Park beach — 1986.0 E.coli/100 mLPHLA — 291.0 E.coli/100 mL. The above locations will not be resampled until next week.
