A portion of northbound Highway 169 between St. Lawrence Township and Jordan will be closed for the weekend. Starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, northbound Highway 169 will be closed from County Road 59/Delaware Avenue in St. Lawrence Township to Creek Lane in Jordan. According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), the closure is being done to allow for storm sewer work. A detour will take travelers from County Road 59 (Delaware Avenue) to County Road 66 (Old Highway 169 Boulevard) to Highway 21 (Broadway Street). The storm sewer work is part of a larger MnDOT project, in partnership with the city of Jordan and Scott County, to build a new interchange at Highway 169 and Highway 282/County Road 9, which started in the spring of 2025 and is expected to go through 2027.
