Southampton-based Labl.it has been named a finalist in the Scale-Up Entrepreneur of the Year category at the 2026 Great British Entrepreneur Awards, which celebrate entrepreneurship and innovation across the UK. Kyle Wilks, co-founder and chief executive of Labl.it, said: "Being shortlisted for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards is fantastic recognition of what our team has built since launching the business in 2021." The company has grown its customer base by 55 per cent, increased its workforce by 50 per cent, and is focused on improving food safety compliance through technology. Mr Wilks said: "We started Labl.it because we believed there was a better way to help commercial kitchens manage food safety, replacing manual processes with technology."
