Summer BBQ and music brings joy to Hampshire care home residents

Residents and guests at Shawford Springs Care Home in Compton enjoyed a live performance from the Winchester A Cappella choir during a summer BBQ.
Claudia, general manager at Shawford Springs, said: "Our residents and guests had a wonderful afternoon singing along with the wonderful performers.

The Winchester A Cappella choir, a women’s group based in Otterbourne, performed modern ballads and upbeat songs in their signature four-part harmony style.
Jackie, a resident at Shawford Springs, said: "it was such a lovely afternoon listening to the choir in the sunshine, everything was just perfect"
