Explora III, the latest vessel from luxury cruise line Explora Journeys, owned by MSC, is scheduled to call at Southampton on August 17, marking its first visits to the UK.
The ship entered service after setting sail on its maiden voyage from Barcelona on August 4, beginning a new chapter for the growing cruise brand.
Explora III is the third ship in Explora Journeys’ fleet and has been designed as an all-suite, ocean-living experience, featuring spacious accommodation, multiple restaurants, wellness facilities and luxury amenities for guests.
Its arrival in Southampton will add another huge vessel to the city’s busy cruise calendar, with the port continuing to welcome some of the world’s biggest ships.
Explora III can accommodate up to 900 guests and is served by around 470 crew members, offering one of the highest crew-to-guest ratios in the luxury cruise sector.
