Icynth Ferrao, 45, from Whiteley, and his three children became stranded off the coast on Wednesday during what began as a routine outing. Having already enjoyed a couple of uneventful trips, Mr Ferrao hired two double kayaks for what started as another fun day on the water at Studland Bay, Dorset. After spotting a nearby moored sailing boat, called the Sun Odyssey, the family mustered their remaining energy to paddle toward it and shout for help. "They took us on board, they waited for my son and my daughter to reach, and then we got on board. "I told my guys, you know what, let's overcome that fear, let's go back on the kayaks."
