ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Police arrested a suspect for a deadly road rage shooting in northwest Albuquerque after officers found a man in a crashed vehicle Friday evening. Albuquerque police arrested 35-year-old Victor Rivera-Jimenez for allegedly shooting and killing Corsinio Martinez just after 7 p.m. as they drove northbound on Unser Boulevard. The gunshots allegedly came from a black pickup truck toward Martinez’s Hyundai Elantra that crashed into a light pole north of Tierra Pintada Boulevard. They discovered he was allegedly in the car with a woman and children at the time of the shooting. He allegedly confessed to the shooting, saying he was being followed and was in fear for his life.
