Published August 7, 20261947 – 2026Beryl Schofield of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital in Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the age of 78 years. Beryl was born in Trochu in 1947, grew up in Three Hills, and settled in Red Deer in the late 1970’s. She worked in the Alberta court system as well as the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Beryl will be lovingly remembered by her partner Marcel Legault; two sons Geoffrey C. Schofield, and Jason G. Schofield; two grandchildren Leif Schofield, and Zayne Schofield; two brothers Glen Crawford and family, as well as Dan Crawford and family; two sisters Carol Zondag and family, as well as Sharon Wice and family; the Kirk, Leaver, and Crawford families; as well as numerous close friends that were like family to Beryl.
