Camden County officials revealed a six-point plan to wipe out homelessness by 2030. The strategy builds on impressive outcomes from the Regan Center emergency shelter program, which has helped 297 guests since October 2021. In Camden City, the $8 million Camden County Multi-Agency Center will connect residents experiencing homelessness or substance use disorder with resources and support for recovery. Seventy-nine percent of emergency shelter guests were stably housed at discharge, while 81% of medical respite guests achieved stable housing. The Board of Commissioners partnered with Volunteers of America Delaware Valley to operate the Regan Center.
