Coming in the aftermath of the death of Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke back in May, the cause of it has been revealed on Friday in a report by the L.A. County Medical Examiner. According to Melody Gutierrez of The Athletic, Clarke passed away due to an accidental overdose. While the report mentioned cocaine and heroin in Clarke's system, the medical examiner also found a “combined effects of multiple prescription medications.” “BREAKING: Brandon Clarke’s death ruled accidental overdose of cocaine, heroin,” Gutierrez wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “The medical examiner also listed as a significant contributing condition the ‘combined effects of multiple prescription medications.'”
