It does not appear that Stephen Vogt has lost the clubhouse, however. American League Rookie of the Month Chase DeLauter explained why the Guardians value the former All-Star catcher's presence in the dugout so much. Chase DeLauter was named AL Rookie of the Month after leading all rookies in hits in the month of July with an .857 OPS! If Chase DeLauter can add to his impactful .279/.355/.440/.795 slash line, and Jose Ramirez and a couple of others ignite, then another Guardians summer resurgence could be coming. Cleveland currently holds a 6-1 lead versus the first-place Chicago White Sox, so perhaps the Vogt magic has already begun.
