The NFL has brought back the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to raise money to find a cure for the deadly nerve disease.
On Friday, Goodell, with the help of Hall of Famers Emmitt Smith and Thurman Thomas, did his due diligence and had ice water poured over his head.

It is a rare but vicious nerve disease that attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
