Sucaldito was taken from his Quezon City home to the Philippine Heart Center, where he was pronounced dead at about 10:30 a.m.His son, Carlo Brian Sucaldito, later said doctors at the hospital attributed his father’s death to cardiac arrest. Born April 16, 1961, Sucaldito began working as an entertainment reporter for the Times Journal in 1982. Sucaldito managed performers, including singers Michael Pangilinan and Kiel Alo, and worked on concerts and other entertainment projects. Sucaldito’s career followed the evolution of Philippine entertainment journalism from newspaper columns to television, radio and online programming.
