A 38-year-old man has died following a traffic accident in Singapore's Hougang on Friday, August 7. The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were informed about the crash along Hougang Avenue 6 toward Hougang Avenue 10 at around 4:20 am. When the SCDF officers arrived at the scene, they found the man trapped inside the vehicle. Fatal Traffic Accidents RisingThe fatal accident comes amid an increase in the number of traffic accidents involving deaths in Singapore. According to traffic accident figures, the number of fatal traffic accidents rose to 147 in 2025, up from 139 in 2024.
