East Lothian Council’s facilities management team were recognised for their continued commitment to quality and sustainability in school meals, maintaining their silver status for the Food for Life Served Here (FFLSH) award. The accolade, run by Soil Association Scotland and funded by the Scottish Government, celebrates councils for serving fresh, sustainable and locally-sourced meals. Vanessa Sanal, service manager, said: "Facilities management are extremely proud to have retained the Food for Life Served Here silver award. "Retaining this award demonstrates our dedication to supporting health, wellbeing and positive food experiences for those we serve every day."
