US Governor Tony Evers of the State of Wisconsin and a delegation from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) have concluded a four-day official trade mission to Ghana. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral economic ties, advance trade partnerships, and explore joint investment opportunities across agriculture, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare. During the mission, Governor Evers held high-level discussions with Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama to examine strategies for expanding trade between West Africa and the U.S. Midwest. The trade mission forms part of ongoing efforts by the State of Wisconsin to broaden international market access for regional businesses and solidify long-term commercial relationships across West Africa.
