Road safety improvements announced around Snow Hill Road in OoltewahOOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) – Conversations about road safety along Snow Hill Road are continuing as Hamilton County leaders consider new improvements to the area. In September 2024, an Ooltewah High School student was killed in a crash on Snow Hill Road. Now, Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp has proposed accepting $1.9 million for improvements at the intersection of Snow Hill Road and Short Tail Springs Road. County leaders hope the proposed improvements will make Snow Hill Road safer and reduce the risk of crashes as the surrounding area continues to grow.
