KARACHI – A robbery case has been registered after more than Rs6.5 million was allegedly stolen from an Edhi Centre in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth area. According to the complaint filed by Edhi employee Mazhar Abbas, four armed men arrived on two motorcycles and followed the employees after they withdrew the cash from a private bank. The suspects allegedly entered the centre, took the money and escaped. Three suspects entered the premises while another remained outside. Edhi Home administration said the cash had been brought from a private bank for distribution as employees’ salaries.
