Employees of Berrien County are receiving a special souvenir to mark America’s 250th anniversary this year. The Berrien County Board of Commissioners this week was presented with some commemorative coins that the county will give out to all staff. Interim County Administrator Mike Sepic hand-delivered the coins at the board’s regular meeting. Eventually, commissioners settled on commemorative coins. Sepic said county employees will receive the coins soon, and some already have.
