Human Centipede director Tom Six reveals multiple sclerosis diagnosis in ‘final film’
['Philip Oltermann']
The Guardian
Tom Six, the film-maker behind schlock horror phenomenon The Human Centipede, has revealed that he has been living as “a full-blown recluse” in a darkened Amsterdam apartment for six years after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Released in 2009, independently produced The Human Centipede tells the story of a crazed scientist, played by German actor Dieter Laser, who kidnaps three tourists and surgically conjoins them in a chain, mouth to anus.
In 2011 and 2015, Six made two sequels that each referenced the previous film, to create a “movie centipede”.

He said that the project was densely interwoven with references to global elite conspiracies and which would have become “even more of a success than The Human Centipede”.
