Food prices fall again, while service inflation refuses to ease

Consumer prices were 1.2% higher on average in July 2026 than a year earlier.
Alcoholic beverage and tobacco prices rose by 2.9%, within which tobacco prices by 3.5%.
Pharmaceutical products became 3.4% more expensive and motor fuel prices diminished by 0.1%.
In one month, compared to June 2026 consumer prices were reduced by 0.1% on average.
Alcoholic beverage and tobacco prices augmented by 0.1%, within which the price of tobacco went up by 0.7% and that of alcoholic beverages decreased by 0.6%.
