Women Entrepreneurs Key to Abuja’s Economic Growth – FCT Minister

The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr Mariya Mahmoud, has reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to promoting women’s entrepreneurship, inclusive economic growth and private sector-led development in the nation’s capital.
She said the FCT Administration, under the leadership of the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, would continue to invest in critical infrastructure, improve the ease of doing business and implement policies that encourage private sector participation.
Mahmoud commended AICL, development partners, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and participants for contributing to the success of the programme.
She expressed optimism that the partnerships and investment opportunities generated through the summit would contribute to economic development in Abuja and across Nigeria.
Nana Oye Bampoe-Addo, Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration), Office of the President of Ghana and former Minister of Gender, as well as the FCT Minister of State, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, for their contributions to the Women’s Impact Day.
