Attendees enjoyed a meal featuring locally produced food, participated in an auction of local merchandise, and listened to live music. Franklin-Simpson Farmers Market advisor Jason Phillips spoke on the importance of events in highlighting the need to support local businesses. All proceeds from the event go toward the Franklin-Simpson Farmers Market. Organizers say the Hometown Harvest Dinner would not be possible without its sponsors and the support of the Simpson County community.
