The film is based on the short story Fail-Safe written by Phillip Fracassi (The Autumn Springs Retirement Home Massacre, The Third Rule of Time Travel). JT Mollner (Henry John and the Little Bug, Outlaws and Angels) directs. The film centers around a young boy whose mother keeps him in a cage. Brian Duffield (No One Will Save You, The Babysitter) wrote the original draft for the film as Mollner revised it.
