Starlink has resurrected an enticing perk: The Residential Max plan is once again offering a free Starlink Mini rental with the subscription. Customers who claimed their Mini Kit or purchased Residential Max before June 6, 2026, are grandfathered in. ” But in June, SpaceX removed the Mini kit rental bonus from the Residential Max plan, without explanation. That came as the company imposed a $10 “monthly kit fee” on new customers for any Starlink Residential plan.
