A game developer claims Google's Gemini chatbot has revealed a key detail about their upcoming game update that had only been shared in a private Google Doc, Polygon reports. It's done quite well, and the solo developer was planning new content, including a new character called "Vantage Tripod." Other responses also contained "surprisingly obscure info," the developer claimed, leading them to believe that Google had scraped his private document to train Gemini. Google says it doesn't use private Workspace content, including Drive and Docs, to train its "foundation AI models," including Gemini. Reddit users responding to the developer highlighted how, for some people, Gemini is automatically connected to their workspace, including Docs and Drive.
