Ms Sakina entered a not guilty plea at a hearing at Manchester Crown Court on Monday (August 4). She has been granted unconditional bail ahead of a trial at Manchester Crown Court. Sakina, 39, will stand trial at Manchester Crown Court on September 23. Article 240 of the Air Navigation Order 2016 covers offences relating to the safety of aircraft. It makes it an offence for any person to act recklessly or negligently in a way that could endanger an aircraft or someone on board.
