Hamirpur: In a major push to strengthen healthcare services, the District Ayurvedic Hospital in Hamirpur has approved an expenditure of R 38.17 lakh for the financial year 2026-27 to improve patient care, upgrade infrastructure and expand essential healthcare services. The decision was taken during the Governing Body meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS), where several proposals related to hospital development, financial planning and new healthcare initiatives were approved. Members reviewed the hospital's financial position and discussed proposals concerning income, expenditure and future development works. He directed the hospital administration to ensure the utilisation of available funds towards enhancing patient care, strengthening the hospital's infrastructure and creating essential healthcare facilities. The meeting also approved the introduction of charges for certain new healthcare services while making partial revisions to the fees for some existing services.
