Eight children — all 4 to 5 years old — were taken to a hospital after a car crashed into a preschool in Glendale Friday afternoon. Hijazi jumped over his fence and saw a car crashed through the wall of the preschool, ending up in a classroom full of children. Inside the crashed car, he saw an elderly woman in the driver's seat. After the crash, parents showed up to the school in tears, with some leading their children away from the wreckage. Authorities told NBCLA that the hospitalized children suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are students at the school, according to fire officials.
