The pontiff will meet with authorities, clergy, religious, and young people, celebrate three public Masses, and meet with victims of clerical sexual abuse. The Vatican published the official schedule on Aug. 7 for Pope Leo XIV’s apostolic journey to France, where he will visit Paris, Lourdes, and Metz from Sept. 25-28. The Vatican also announced that, as he did during his recent journey to Spain, he will meet with victims of clerical sexual abuse during his France trip. That evening, at 5:15 p.m., the pope will celebrate vespers with clergy and religious at the Notre Dame Cathedral. The pope will then celebrate the third and final Mass of his trip at the Cathedral of Saint Stephen in Metz.
