The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of August 8. According to the CBI's announced rates, the value of 44 currencies went up, while 2 currencies fell compared to August 6. The official rate for $1 is 1,515,140 rials, while one euro is valued at 1,751,472 rials. On August 6, the euro was priced at 1,739,568 rials. On the black market, $1 is worth about 1,87-1,90 million rials, while one euro is worth 2,15-2,18 million rials.
