The new Comptroller of Immigration in Cross River State, Okechukwu Anyanwu, has rallied officers and men of the Command to enthrone synergy in order to execute the core mandate of the service.
Anyanwu, who is the 29th Comptroller of the Command, assured that the welfare and conducive environment for service as enthroned by the Comptroller General of the service, Kemi Nandap, would be leveraged to see that the Command delivers on the mandate.
“In response, officers present assured the Comptroller of their unwavering loyalty and commitment to achieving set administrative and operational goals.”
He later inspected the Marine Patrol Unit, where he evaluated the condition of operational equipment and was briefed by the Unit Head on the state of the Command’s gunboat.
Anyanwu noted the urgent need for maintenance intervention to restore optimal marine patrol and surveillance capabilities along the state’s waterways.
