Melbourne’s Harrison Petty has clearly not forgotten about his run-in with Fremantle’s Pat Voss earlier in the season, making a clear reference to the incident in celebrating a goal.
Voss courted controversy by repeatedly rubbing his hand on Petty’s head in the meeting between the sides at Optus Stadium in round two.
And Petty made what appeared to be a lighthearted reference to the incident after slotting a classy goal in the second clash of the season between the Demons and Dockers.
Voss had himself made a fine start to the game, slotting three early goals to continue a stunning recent record at the MCG.
Fremantle found themselves on the wrong end of the taunting rule in their top-of-the-table clash against Sydney last month, with Luke Ryan surrendering a certain goal by rubbing the head of Chad Warner.
