In a statement, GMP said: "Today, officers from the Wigan Neighbourhood Tasking Team, supported by Wigan Council and the Council's Community Resilience Team, enforced a full closure order at 120 Warwick Road, Atherton, following repeated complaints from the community regarding anti-social behaviour linked to the address. "We encourage residents to continue reporting concerns so that we can identify problems early and take appropriate action." Anyone found entering or remaining at the address without lawful authority could face arrest and prosecution for breaching the closure order.
