QuikTrip real estate project manager Gabriel Longoria presented a conceptual plan to the Planning and Zoning Commission Wednesday for a gas station and car wash at the northwest corner of Route 31 and Three Oaks Road. Most recently, the City Council approved a Club Car Wash to be built off Carlemont Drive in June. But if the car wash were dropped from the plan, many commissioners said they still wouldn’t support it, because of the location. The Algonquin Village Board unanimously approved the gas station and convenience store in May.
