Chicago restaurateur, author and polio survivor Ina Pinkney will speak at the Rotary Club of Joliet general membership meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Jacob Henry Mansion Victorian Ballroom in Joliet.

The meeting will take place at 12:15 p.m. at the Jacob Henry Mansion Victorian Ballroom in Joliet.
The Rotary Club of Joliet actively supports Rotary’s efforts to eradicate polio “through fundraising, community education, and contributions to the PolioPlus program,” the release said.
“Local Rotarians have participated in awareness campaigns and district-wide initiatives designed to help end polio forever,” the club said in the release.
