(Shaw Local News Network)Illinois Valley Community College campuses will be closed Wednesday morning, Aug. 12, to allow employees to participate in professional development sessions, according to a news release. Student support services and offices at the Oglesby and Ottawa Center campuses will resume normal operating hours at 1 p.m. The fall Eagles Launch orientation for new students will take place on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Fall classes begin on Friday, Aug. 14.
