Chepstow Castle will play host to the Castell Roc festival, which begins on Thursday, August 13, and runs until Monday, August 31. The open-air event features a mix of genres, from rock and country to K-pop and tribute acts, set against the historic backdrop of the medieval castle. A social media post by Castell Roc says that organisers are looking forward to the start of the festival next week "inside the glorious surroundings of Chepstow Castle." Highlights include Hayseed Dixie on the opening night, K-Pop Superstars on August 29, and An Evening with Jools Holland closing the festival on August 31. Gates open at 6.30pm on the opening night, with a curfew at 11pm.
