ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- Albany police are investigating a fatal crash after a woman was struck by a CDTA bus on New Scotland Avenue. According to Albany police, officers responded around 3:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, to the area of New Scotland Avenue and Morris Street for reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a CDTA bus. The Albany Fire Department and emergency medical workers treated the woman at the scene, police said. Police said a preliminary investigation shows the woman tripped and fell into the street underneath the moving bus before she was struck. CDTA is fully cooperating with the Albany Police Department as it conducts its investigation.
