ÁINE DONEGAN HOLDS a share of the clubhouse lead at the PIF London Championship on the Ladies European Tour. The Ennis native fired a second-round 69 to close on seven-under after the morning’s action at the Centurion Club. Following an opening-round 70, Donegan got off to a fast start with five birdies between the third and eighth holes to reach eight-under. After contrasting rounds, the other Irish competitors, Sara Byrne and Anna Foster, are in line to make the weekend on one-over, which is currently two shots inside the projected cut. The $2 million (€1.73m) prize fund places the PIF London Championship among the most lucrative tournaments on the tour.
