(ABC 6 Sports) – The Rochester Honkers played their last game at Mayo Field for both this season, and forever. Mayo Field has been the Honkers home since their inaugural season in 1994, but the field itself has been in use since 1951 including a stint with the Rochester Royals, an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. During the teams three decades in Rochester there has been plenty of memories, high energy moments, and family moments. The fans are what make Mayo Field feel like home for fans like Niemyjski. They play their last game of the regular season on August 8th at 6:35pm in La Crosse.
