Gerard Trojanowski, 44, died at the scene of a collision involving six vehicles near Carmarthen on Tuesday, July 28. In a statement released through Dyfed-Powys Police, his family said:"Gerard was a loving husband and father. Police said a marked police vehicle, which was on routine patrol on the A40, was among those that struck Mr Trojanowski. In line with standard procedure for incidents involving police contact, Dyfed-Powys Police made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC). Anyone who can help is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police, quoting reference 442 of July 28.
