Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...TRYON—Following its premiere at the 2025 Tryon International Film Festival earlier this year, Tryon filmmaker E. Vincent Martinez’s documentary Iron Pearls has been selected for screening at Filmland 2026, the annual festival presented by the Arkansas Cinema Society in Little Rock. Although Martinez is based in Tryon, the film has ties to Arkansas. “There’s a natural connection between Elizabeth’s work and Arkansas,” Martinez said. Iron Pearls made its world premiere as the closing-night film of the 2025 Tryon International Film Festival at the Tryon Theatre, where it was shown to a sold-out audience. The screening continues the festival run for Iron Pearls, which chronicles Brim’s career and examines themes of craftsmanship, perseverance and artistic expression.
