By Sunday Oguntuyi, OsogboBarely a week to the Osun State governorship election, Governor Ademola Adeleke, the Accord Party candidate, has charged residents to come out en masse, cast their votes and defend their votes in the spirit of democracy and the Nigerian Constitution.
Accompanied by top leaders of the Imole Campaign Council, the governor urged Osun voters to demonstrate courage and determination in exercising their constitutional right to vote, declaring that “no force can deny Osun voters their democratic rights”.
Echoing Davido’s call for residents to vote and defend their votes, Adeleke said free and fair elections were the inalienable rights of the people of Osun State, adding that they were prepared to protect and affirm those rights on August 15.
Addressing an electrifying campaign rally in Ipetu-Jesa and Ijebu-Jesa, Adeleke declared that victory was within reach and urged supporters to intensify mobilisation ahead of the election.
