Juan Domingo Beckmann, the billionaire CEO behind Jose Cuervo, Maestro Dobel and Gran Coramino, has joined the Los Angeles Football Club’s ownership group.
A recent update on the LAFC website lists Beckmann as a Director and Owner of the club.
Earlier this year, the billionaire inherited a nearly 51% stake in Becle, the firm behind Jose Cuervo, Bushmills and Proper No.
The investment does not reflect an official connection between Cuervo and LAFC, though it might soon.
Elsewhere in the sports world, Jose Cuervo is a sponsor of both NASCAR and the UFC, while Maestro Dobel is the official tequila partner of the PGA Tour.
