VALDOSTA — SGMC Health welcomes emergency medicine physician Holli Spikes, DO, to its medical staff. A South Georgia native, Dr. Spikes returns home to provide emergency care for the community that played a significant role in shaping her life and career. As an emergency medicine physician, Dr. Spikes is trained to evaluate, stabilize, and treat a wide range of urgent and life-threatening conditions, including heart attacks, strokes, and traumatic injuries, SGMC Health said in a press release. Dr. Spikes earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. Outside of medicine, Dr. Spikes enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their two children, Harrison and Eleanor.
