The Austin Police Department responded to five reports overnight Thursday about a person looking into windows and attempting to make contact with residents of buildings on San Gabriel and 21st streets, and San Gabriel and 23rd streets. According to a UT Police Department safety advisory for West Campus, a surveillance camera captured an image of the suspect who was “peering into windows.” A University spokesperson confirmed the reports were being handled by APD and UTPD did not have anything to add on the situation.
